Product Manager - Omneo

As the Product Manager for the Omneo team, you will lead a team of highly skilled and motivated developers as they continue to build features and improvements into a customer data platform used by some of Australia’s most high profile retailers and service providers.

The Arkade team creates CX strategies, platforms and services, using modern technology and frameworks, that allow brands to manage mutually beneficial and direct relationships with their customers.

As a result of our continued pursuit of creating the ultimate in Customer Experience, we built our very own product – a CX management suite called Omneo, that’s being used by a dozen australian retail brands in Australian and NZ, and we need someone with a passion for retail and customer experience to manage its development and success in market.Key aspects of this challenging and fast paced role are to:

  • Develop and implement product strategies consistent with company and product vision
  • Collect and analyse feedback from customers, users, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and the end product
  • Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps
  • Lead a dedicated product development team of 3-4 staff, ensuring they are motivated, productive and successful
  • Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
  • Manage the accuracy and quality of product documentation and support systems
  • Make creative recommendations to expand product base and vision
  • Coordinate relationships with 3rd party products and platforms that we integrate with
  • Form relationships with implementation agencies (like Arkade) to ensure their success with the product
  • Suggest ways to track product use and impact on end users.

What do you bring to the table?

Product Manager Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager - specifically software or SAAS products
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks
  • Organisational, leadership and decision making abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude and creative thinking skills
  • Positive, optimistic and can-do attitude

Relevant Industry Experience

  • Experience in retail, POS or ecommerce a plus

CX Analyst (Senior)

Our next strategic hire is our first dedicated customer data analyst to help design, define and deliver innovative solutions grounded in measurable results and insights from data to our long-standing retail clients who include Snooze, Cotton On, The PAS Group, Country Road Group, Glue, Debenhams and DECJUBA.

You’ll need to dig deep into clients data sets across websites, CRM, POS, email marketing and other more obscure sources to draw identify patterns and unearth new insights which you will then communicate to the wider agency and client teams to demonstrate value, influence strategy and drive change.  

You’ll have experience and a passion for multichannel retail and an inherent empathy with customers over and above the data they generate.

What do you bring to the table?

Data Analyst Experience

  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst in the field of retail
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases, programming languages, ETL and data processing tools
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

Relevant Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant fields such as: Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

Full Stack Developer

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll help us bring our products and solutions to life from concept right through to delivery.

You will be working closely with talented CX strategists, designers and developers, shaping new and innovative ideas into meaningful platforms. You will mentor and collaborate with other developers, and be responsible for the robustness and sophistication of what you build.

In this position you need to keep in mind that if you build a service, you need to know how to run it, host it, deploy it, document it and support it. All with a smile on your face and a skip in your step. Unless of course it’s one of those moments when swearing helps…
